Thyroid Disorder

Thyroid disorders are conditions where the thyroid gland produces too much or too little thyroid hormone, or develops structural issues like nodules or enlargement. Common types include hyperthyroidism (overactive), which speeds up the body's functions, and hypothyroidism (underactive), which slows them down. Other disorders involve an enlarged gland (goiter), lumps (nodules), and cancer.
